rain abscess is rare in patients with cystic fibrosis (CF). .E)Previously described cases have occurred in adults o adolescents and were caused by bacteria that are part of the normal oral flora.'1We report the case of an 8-year-old girl with moderately severe CF who developed severe headaches with vomiting and was found to have a cerebellar abscess caused by the fungus Blastomyces dermatitidis.
